HIKING IN ARCHES NATIONAL PARK

There are many hikes that are kid-friendly inside Arches National Park. The Devil’s Garden and Windows sections of the park offer lots to see in relatively small areas. MOAB AQUATIC AND RECREATION CENTER

While Mother Nature offers so much to see and do in the Moab area, many visitors like to take the opportunity to see what the city of Moab has to offer. The Moab Aquatic & Recreation Center, also known as the MRAC, is a local hub for fitness and leisure activities. With 2 outdoor pools, an indoor pool and slide, a fitness center, and available fitness classes; the MRAC is loaded with a day of fun and excitement for all ages.

Moab City Parks

ROTARY PARK Located on the east side of town is a beautiful park, perfect for a picnic lunch. The park offers enormous musical instruments for the kids to experiment and play with. A small basketball court is also available on site.

MOAB SWANNY PARK Located just off Main Street, Swanny Park is a great spot to stop for a quick picnic lunch. Towering trees line the edge of the park, the acres of lush green grass, and children's playground make for an ideal place to run around and have fun! The park is also conveniently placed next to the Moab Aquatic and Recreation Center, allowing easy access to the pools and fitness facility.

MOAB ROTARY PARK Rotary Park is an extremely unique park that is great for visitors of all ages. The park is home to a large discovery area of musical instruments, creating the perfect play environment for young kids; or a great opportunity for the inner-child in us all to shine through. There is also a small amphitheater and basketball court located on the east end of the park.

OLD CITY PARK Located on the outer part of town, Old City Park is often quiet; making it a fantastic place to sit back and enjoy the afternoon sun. With opportunities for disk golf, volleyball, horseshoe toss, and a playground - this park is perfect for families of all ages. A duck pond is also on site and makes for a fun day outside.

ULTIMATE ZIP LINE ADVENTURE

Glide over the sandstone fins and gaps above Moab with a series of zip line cables and bridges. Kids and adults can strap in for a 3-hour zip line adventure. With 6 different zips and 2 suspension bridges; this course is sure to excite! Minimum weights and ages apply.

The Moab Giants All-Inclusive Family Pass is perfect for a family with at least 2 adults and 2 or more children. This pass will give you access to all indoor and outdoor dinosaur exhibits. We recommend approximately 2 hours to explore everything, but stay as long as you like! A cafe is also available if you'd like to grab lunch or a snack while at the park. BECOME A JUNIOR RANGER

Arches Junior Ranger Program Head over to one of the nearby national parks and become a Junior Ranger! Kids can also rent Explorer Packs for the day and return them to one of the visitor centers when finished with them. This is a fantastic way for kids to learn about the national parks and have fun while doing so! We suggest Arches National Park for lots of short, kid-friendly hikes.
