Location
Electric Mountain Lodge is situated on Colorado’s western slope, 9,200′ atop the Grand Mesa, offering an ideal base for hunters looking to explore the remote backcountry of the surrounding Gunnison National Forest. Its location provides easy access to prime hunting grounds, allowing hunters to immerse themselves in the rugged backcountry. Surrounded by vast stretches of forest, meadows, and alpine terrain, the lodge offers a true off-the-grid experience, making it an excellent choice for those seeking both adventure and comfort during their hunting trips.
Hunters from nearly every state flock to our region for big game hunting; an area that is home to several species, including mule deer, elk, mountain goats, bighorn sheep, moose, black bears, and mountain lions. Additionally, hunters pursue a variety of game birds in the area, such as turkey, blue grouse, sage grouse, rock and mourning dove, as well as different species of waterfowl.
Lodging
Electric Mountain Lodge offers onsite overnight accommodations for just you or your entire hunting crew. From large, remodeled cabins that comfortably sleep up to eleven, to rustic studio cabins that accommodate 2-3 people, we have options for every budget and group size. Our cabins blend modern comforts with a touch of rustic charm, ensuring a comfortable stay after a day out in the field. Each cabin features a smart TV, a kitchenette with microwave, small fridge, and wifi.

Second Brake Bar & Grill is located onsite at Electric Mountain Lodge, offering delicious options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Pre-pack lunches are available to take out to the field.
